About us

Guard App is the WWFT Compliance App for accountants, lawyers, real estate agents and other institutions supervised by the Dutch Financial Supervision Office (BFT). We help you comply with the WWFT, the Dutch Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Act, in a structured and hassle-free way, so you are always well prepared for inspections and audits.

Our story

Guard App grew out of a meeting between Thijs Janssen and a financial adviser with many years of experience in the financial world. She saw in practice how much time and effort the WWFT takes: client due diligence, risk assessments and record-keeping are often handled in separate documents and spreadsheets, while the supervisor’s requirements keep getting stricter.

Thijs is the owner of Seecr and has extensive experience building and hosting software applications. Together they developed Guard App: hands-on knowledge of the WWFT, translated into a clear, step-by-step application.

Our mission

WWFT compliance should not be a paperwork nightmare. We want every institution supervised by the BFT, large or small, to be able to meet its WWFT obligations easily, demonstrably and reliably, leaving more time for what really matters: your clients.

In safe hands

In Guard App you work with sensitive client data, so we take data security very seriously. Guard App is developed, managed and hosted by Seecr. Hosting takes place exclusively within Europe, and Seecr is ISO 27001 certified: the international standard for information security.
